What exactly is boudoir photography?
Boudoir photography can be hard to describe because everyone seems to be looking for something different. Some women are looking for some flirty pictures taken in modest lingerie, while others may be looking for true nudity. Of course we can do everything in between, from more revealing lingerie to implied nudity. You’ve likely got an idea in your head, so let us in on what it is, and we’ll work to help you tastefully create that image.

What does it all cost?
The cost of a boudoir session with WCB varies because we offer multiple package options for how you will receive your images. Prices start at $500 and always include hair and makeup.

Can I book a private session, or do I have to wait for one of your events?
Of course you can book a private session! Just contact us and we’ll work with you to find a time and date that works.

I’m self conscious about my body. What can you do to make me look and feel good in front of the camera?
The beauty of working with WCB is that we’re all real women with real bodies. We know what it’s like to be worry about the way you look, on and off camera. We hope that that fact alone will make you more at ease with us but we understand you may still have some worries about how you will look in your photos. Our skilled hair and makeup team will work with you to come up with the best look to flatter you and make you feel as beautiful as you truly are, and our veteran photographers will do what they can to photograph you in the most flattering angles, and use their professional grade editing software to take care of minor imperfections. Our goal is to make sure you look like the best you you can be, not to make you look like an entirely different person.

I don’t know what to wear! Help?!
There are a few things you can do when trying to figure out what you’re going to wear to your shoot. One of the first things is to get an idea of the look you’re trying to portray – a more soft and sensual look, or a more edgy sexy look? Are you giving the photos to your significant other? What does he or she like to see you in? What makes you feel sexy? If you still need help, try looking online at websites that sell lingerie, or go to a store to look in person (specialty stores like Fredrick’s of Hollywood or even department stores). Consulting one of our team members is also a definite option – we can get a little bit of information from you and give you some suggestions. Last, if you still can’t decide, don’t hesitate to bring a few possible choices on the day of your shoot and let us help you decide at that time.

What should I do to get myself ready?
When you book a session with WCB, we will send you an information packet that includes some tips, suggestions, and guidelines to help you prepare for your boudoir shoot.

Where do you take the pictures? Will people be able to see?
We shoot in a variety of places. Our special events take place in hotels, and our individual sessions can as well. We have a private photography studio to shoot in, and for the more daring of clients, some remote outdoor locations. Your safety and comfort are of the utmost important to us at WCB so rest assured that your session will be as private as you’d like it to be. We can even shoot in your home.

Do you have props? Do I need to bring some?
We do make sure to have a couple of boudoir-appropriate props on hand (such as roses), but you’re encouraged to bring any special items along with you.

Do you photograph couples?
We do! Some companies will shoot couples, and some will not. WCB is one that will. Couple sessions are fun and flirty, romantic and sensual. They are not images of you and your partner having sex. Your significan other can be as involved or uninvolved in the pictures as you wish.

What will you not photograph?
No animals. No children. Nothing pornographic. Women must be 18 or older.

Do you do classic pin-up style boudoir photography?
We certainly do! We have experience helping women achieve many different looks, pin-up included.

How private will my pictures be? Will you have them on your website?
We could never and would never use your pictures without your permission! If you want your eyes to be the only ones outside our team to see your images, that’s exactly how things will be. However, if you decide to sign a release allowing the use of select  images on our website, you will receive 20% off your session.
